FAQ's

Here we will provide further clarity and insight to the deliverables of our 3D & 360 virtual tour experiences for your business. Click to expand.

1What is the difference between a 3D Virtual Tour and a 360° Panorama?
While both provide an immersive view, they offer different experiences. A 360° Panorama usually used to produce a 360° Tour, is captured with our high end 360 camera in 8K.

You "stand" at a fixed point and look around (up, down, left, right), but you cannot physically "move" through the space freely. These 360° panoramas are connected to one another via a hotspot.

A 3D Virtual Tour, is created using a Matterport 3D camera capturing 3D panoramas in 4K. The 3D scan creates a digital twin of the space. It captures depth and spatial data, allowing users to "walk" through the room smoothly as if they were physically there. It also creates a "Dollhouse" view, a 3D architectural model of the entire property that users can rotate and examine from the outside.
2How long does the on-site scanning process take?
The time depends on the size and complexity of the property. Generally a standard residential property or small business (up to 200m2) takes between 1 to 2 hours to scan.
Larger commercial spaces, or properties with complex layouts may take a half or full day.

We use advanced scanning technology to work efficiently and minimise disruption to your business operations.
3How do I prepare my space for the virtual tour shoot?
The camera captures everything in 360°, so "staging" is vital.

Clean and Declutter: - Remove unnecessary items, cords, personal photos, and clutter.

Lighting: - Turn on all lights (including under-cabinet and lamps) and open blinds to let natural light in.

Hide Private Items: - Put away sensitive documents, expensive valuables, or pet bowls.

Consistency: - Ensure doors to rooms you want scanned are open, close doors to closets or bathrooms you typically want hidden (unless they are a feature).

The space should look exactly how you want it to appear to a global audience forever.
4Can the virtual tour be embedded on my website and social media?
Yes! We provide you with a direct link (URL) and an embed code (similar to a YouTube video). You can easily add the tour to your company website, listing pages, or email newsletters. For social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, you can share the direct link, which generates a preview image.

We can also help you producing a walkthrough video from your Matterport 3D tour in 16:9 for YouTube and 1:1 for social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook.
5Do you publish the tours to Google Street View and Google Maps?
Yes, this is a major service we offer. We can upload your 3D virtual tour directly to your Google Business Profile. This connects your indoor tour to Street View, allowing customers searching on Google Maps and Google Earth to "walk" straight from the street into your business.

Listings with 360° photos and virtual tours are twice as likely to generate interest in customers visiting your website and ultimately come into your business.
6Will the virtual tour work on mobile phones and VR headsets?
Absolutely! Our virtual tours are fully responsive and work seamlessly on all devices, including desktops, tablets, and smartphones (iOS and Android) without requiring users to download any special apps.

For a fully immersive experience, the tours are also compatible with VR headsets (like Meta Quest 3), allowing users to explore the space in virtual reality.
7Can we "tag" items inside the tour with information?
Yes. We can add interactive "tags" or "Info Spots" throughout the tour. If you are a retailer, we can tag a product with its price and a link to buy it online. For real estate, we can tag specific features (e.g., "Quartz Countertops" or "Smart Home Thermostat") with text, images, or even video links to provide more detail to the viewer.
8Can you remove people or sensitive items from the images?
Virtual tour 3D & 360° cameras capture everything in the line of sight. It is best to have people and pets step out of the room during the scan. However, if capturing a busy public space (like a museum or restaurant) is unavoidable, we can blur faces and license plates to protect privacy.

We recommend scheduling shoots before or after business hours to ensure the space is empty for the cleanest look.
9What is the turnaround time to receive the final tour?
We pride ourselves on speed. For most standard projects, you will receive the completed 3D virtual tour link within 24 to 48 hours after the shoot and editing has been completed.

Larger projects requiring custom overlay menus, Google Street View publishing, or detailed floor plans may take slightly longer (3–5 business days).
10How much does a virtual tour cost?
Pricing for 3D models (recommended for residential and commercial office spaces) typically depends on the square meterage of the space and the specific features you need (e.g., Google Maps integration, floor plan generation).

We offer competitive tiered packages. For a standard residential home, packages start from a base rate, while large commercial projects are quoted custom. Please contact us with your property's approximate size for a free, no-obligation quote.

All 360° virtual tour experiences (recommended for large projects such as hotels, university campuses & residential communities) are created bespoke to the client's specific requirements and needs. Therefore every 360° experience is unique together with your branding and user experience.

Due to uniqness of every 360° showcase, we can provide you with our proposal after a meeting with your team and understanding your project requirements.
